Whats wrong with me? Ever asked yourself this question when you just don’t feel like ‘you?’ Me too. Read on to find out which questions to ask to get you back on the path to health.

Whats wrong with me?

Most of us have been there. That moment when you just feel “off.” You’re not your normal self. Maybe you’re not as energetic as you used to be. Maybe you’ve had more health challenges or illnesses pop up than usual. Or maybe your mood has taken a nosedive.

If you’ve felt this way for a significant amount of time, the pressure keeps building to feel good again! Sometimes, it feels like that’s all you can think about.

When this feeling of diminished wellness strikes, it’s really difficult sometimes to pinpoint the root cause. We don’t want to spend hours or days researching the “whys” of what’s happening – we just want to feel better, fast!

That’s why I’ve compiled this list of 8 questions to ask yourself on those days. It should help you get a handle on what’s gone wrong and how to turn things around.

In my personal experience of pursuing health, it’s hardly ever just “one thing” that causes us to feel bad. It’s usually several different factors that contribute to this state. I know, I know, it’s not what you (or I) want to hear. We want a quick fix, a magic bullet – something EASY we can do that will make us feel great right away.

Sorry guys, ain’t gonna happen.

You didn’t get into this mess overnight, and it probably won’t be fixed overnight.

But the GOOD NEWS is that if you focus on holistic wellness addressing all the areas outlined below and are consistent in your efforts, vibrant health is not far away! It may take longer than you would like, but it will happen.

I genuinely, whole-heartedly believe that when all your needs are met, you will feel good. Pretty much everyone can remember a time in their life when they felt really great. If you’ve felt great in the past, you can most likely feel that way again!

The eight questions are divided into the categories of spirit, mind, and body. These all link to different posts on the site, so you can dive in and read more on each topic.

“Whats wrong with me?” 8 Questions to Ask When You Feel Unwell

Spirit:

1. Did I spend time with God today in prayer and Bible study?

2. What passage from God’s Word am I meditating on today?

Mind:

3. Have I been paying attention to what I’m thinking about?

4. Am I analyzing and changing my thoughts to make sure they agree with Scripture?

Body:

5. Have I filled my body with real, living foods today?

6. Have I drastically cut out any food groups?

7. Have I exercised?

8. How much sleep did I get last night?

If you answer each of these questions honestly, I think you’ll start to see where things have gone wrong in your self-care routine. You will start to see patterns and be more able to answer your question, “What’s wrong with me?” Address these areas as fully as you can, recognizing that healing will take time – but you can do it!

To keep things simple for you, I’ve created a free printable so you can keep these 8 questions handy or post in your personal space. This will help you pinpoint what areas of health you need to focus on if you’re having a rough day.

Great points. When ever I visit Paragould it always throws me out of my routine. I never eat right nor do I get enough excerise that I usually do through the week. I love the way you analize the human condition, both body and soul 🙂
