Authentic Greek Salad Dressing

Take your favorite salad up another notch with this authentic greek salad dressing! A savory blend of olive oil, red wine vinegar, lemon juice, garlic, and herbs, this homemade dressing takes only takes 5 minutes to make.

  • ½ cup olive oil
  • ¼ cup red wine vinegar
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp. oregano dried or fresh
  • 1 tsp. salt or more to taste
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. dijon mustard optional


  1. Add all dressing ingredients to a small jar.

  2. Shake thoroughly to combine until dressing is emulsified (vinegar and oil will separate, after shaking, which is natural).

  3. Taste dressing and add more salt, if needed.

  4. Keep dressing in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. If dressing solidifies, warm it in a bowl of warm water before use.

Recipe Notes

To make a creamy greek dressing, whisk in 2 Tbsp. greek yogurt. A wonderful addition!
