Healthy Pumpkin Spice Creamer
This healthy pumpkin spice creamer only takes 5 minutes to whip up, uses real food ingredients like actual pumpkin, and tastes SO much better than store bought!

Pumpkin spice creamer = fall is in the air!
It’s mid-September as I write this, but in Alabama it’s still blazing hot outside. But, I can sense a hint of a fall breeze in the mornings. And a pumpkin spice coffee makes me feel like fall is coming, no matter how hot it is outside.
I love a good PSL, but I’m not crazy about the high amounts of sugar and artificial ingredients in coffee shop syrups (or store bought creamers, either). And when I realized how easy it is to make my own pumpkin spice coffee creamer, I was a happy girl. Real food ingredients and better flavor, too!

Healthy pumpkin spice creamer ingredients
You only need a handful of ingredients for this recipe, and it comes together in five minutes. You just need:
- Canned pumpkin purée – Make sure it’s not the pumpkin pie filling, which contains added sugar. You can even make your own pumpkin purée!
- Maple syrup – or other sweetener of choice.
- Cinnamon
- Pumpkin pie spice – If you don’t have this on hand, you can make your own.
- Vanilla extract
- Half & half – or other milk/cream of choice.

Simple substitiutions
There are so many easy ways to customize this recipe to your preference. Here are some ideas:
- Add extra pumpkin. This recipe calls for 1/4 cup pumpkin puree, but I love deep pumpkin flavor, so sometimes I add an extra scoop (up to half a cup) for extra autumn goodness.
- Sweetener swap. Instead of maple syrup, you can use brown sugar, honey, or sucanat (unrefined cane sugar).
- Creamer base. I like using half and half, but you can totally use milk instead to keep things lighter, or use heavy cream if you like it extra rich. If you’re non-dairy, you can easily use coconut, oat, or almond milk instead.
For an extra fun addition, I love stirring in a small spoonful of this Herbal Pumpkin Spice electuary (a paste of herbs and honey) into my coffee before adding the creamer. It’s full of nourishing herbs with the yummiest autumn flavors. Taylor is a beekeeper and her creations at The Local Wild are top notch! You can use my code MARY10 to save if you want to try it.

How to make pumpkin spice creamer
This recipe couldn’t be more simple!
All you need to do is add all the ingredients into a mason jar and blend with an immersion blender. Or, you can blend everything up in a traditional blender. Then it’s ready to go!
This recipe makes enough to last a whole week in our house. Such a simple fall recipe to make on the weekends and use throughout the week to make your mornings a little cozier.

Pumpkin spice coffee creamer storage tips
This creamer keeps for about a week in the refrigerator. Just give it a good shake before each use, since the spices will settle to the bottom. I haven’t tried freezing it, but I think it would work if you don’t plan on using it up quickly.
